It is with some disgust and anger that I report this: I was going through the chat logs and noticed a couple guys making a habit of inviting others to leave RPDC for another website. Seems some were picking off guys one at a time.
THANK YOU! I know who each one of you are. What a bunch of creeps!
I won't ban you (after all, from what I read, this is apparently what you have been trying to get me to do) but I will delete any posts you put up unless you want to first publicly apologize to me and every other member and visitor of RPDC whose roller pigeon community you have tried to undermine.

Hey Cliff, it's true. I could post names, user-names, IP Addresses, and their posts.
I can publish them here anytime I choose. Let's see what kind of character, spin and control these guys have or are they just a couple roll-downs. I think some would be surprised!

Tony,
You have more control then I do....I would have posted them in a second. This is just not only a site for you...it is how you make your living...and guys are pulling food out of your mouth by getting rid of customers....I would post them for all to see....what a crock of crap. What is up with people these day. There is a lot more things to worry about in this world then stealing members from a pigeon site. Why are people so negative...maybe they need to take a ride with me at work for a couple days and see how short life really is...and when you are on this earth you should be happy and make as many friends as possible and not be sneaky.

Hi all !
im new here,but i still want to put my two cents in if i may?
a few months ago i was watching a few common pigeons feeding at our wild bird feeder.i started thinking back to when i was about 13 years old ,when i had my rollers.
it brought a huge smile to my face as i mentaly started to picture my birds,each with its own colors and personalitys.
the joy of sitting back and watching my kit fly.
i went strait in to look at some old pictures of my birds
and decided to go on the computer punch in birmingham rollers.
i found some pics,a few sites but nothing to satisfy my quest for something more.
when i found roller pigeon.com and tonys ruby rollers
something just clicked for me...so much good info, pics,
and good natured bird people.
i felt like i had found something really special.
i am now in the final stages of building my new kit box
i have some rollers on order with tony and im so excited to be back in this hobby that i feel like a little kid waiting for x-mas.
sorry for rambiling on, but i just wanted to say ((thank you ))to tony,and everyone here at rpdc.
i dont know what those idiots that were attempting to undermine this site are thinking,but they will probably wish that they had not burnt their bridges here becouse the chances of finding or building a site as good as this one are very slim.
and they wont satisfy whatever grudge they have with tony or this site.

Welcome Barry,
My brother was over for a July 4th picnic a few years back
He mentioned he could get me a kitbox and 8-10 birds with a phone call. I looked over at my wife and she didn`t kick me when I walked back out with the phone.
Over the years she has had her moments. She was harping to my brothers wife once. My S-I-L told my wife" Keeps him out of the bars and in the backyard doesn`t it?" I just looked at my wife and mouthed I love you with a grin on my face.
She likes the birds she just won`t admit it. When she calls me crying when a bird hits.....
yits and welcome once again.

Well, we had an admission of guilt and a hateful challenging remark that I sent you a copy of before I moderated it! I guess it wasn't his style to be hanging up there with admission of guilt without a hateful insult behind it, so he deleted it all!
By the way, there wasn't anything at all about an apology to you or any of us,as of yet anyways, I'm sure he just forgot and its coming though! LOL

Tony, I'm not playing devil's advocate here, but if someone wants to start another list that shouldn't cause any heartburn as it seems thiers a host of others around now! What does bother me though, as it does us all,is if he had to bad mouth you and RPDC! Was that the case? I thouroughly enjoy RPDC and if jealousy reared it's ugly head its a damn shame someone has to walk on another's back in order to go in thier own direction.These petty jealousies is what really stinks about the roller sport. Any man being mean, just to be mean is a sissy and wasn't raised right! I'd like to know just who the character is.... he needs to be brought out back by us all! Otis

Hey Kel, Val is just doing what I asked him to do. I am glad he was all over it. The response really was not in the spirit of what was asked for, no point in continuing the same line of crapola. I appreciate his desire to do his very best, I stand behind his decision.
Part of the reason to moderate posts quickly, if possible, is to prevent stuff from happening, we plan on doing a better job of it to keep things from spinning out of control.
Please help us by giving us more slack as we try to get things back on track and get back to roller pigeons.

Hey Otis, I have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER with another website. Let me be CLEAR on that! LOL
What I do have a problem with is with men who would be king or thier supporters coming to this site and picking guys off in an effort to get them to leave this site for another one.
It's THAT simple.

Whoever it is needs to be ignored.More controversy,anger and especially vindictiveness like saying let's take whoever out behind the woodshed is not going to help this site.Just my opinion but ain't likely to change it.

Kelly, it is not that easy to ignore posts. This site is not a free-for-all. Everyone who says "ignore posts" says so until there is one that tweaks their own nose. LOL
Moderators are here for a reason, even other visitors have pointed at things that I have said and I correct those posts, I don't tell them to ignore the post.
Civility goes a looooong way. It can't be forced. This site is for truly good people, not every bozo with a keyboard. (I hope "bozo" is not moderated, it wasn't meant for anyone specific in this post)
I DO want to move away from the negative BS that kills the fun of a site like this (I agree with J.T.). The longer I do this the more I learn, the more peoples true colors come out, GOOD and BAD.
Recently, I feel like some would love to see this site go down and think its fun and a game. For me, this is a way of life, it's not just a hobby or past-time for me. I am going nowhere but here, Lord willing.

Tony,
It just seems he(moderator) is being a little heavy handed.Half the threads have some sort of moderation in them and it's like we are living under some Czar or something.

Hey Kelly, the Moderator is simply doing what I asked. If you think he is being heavy handed its only because I have in the past allowed too much negativelty on the site.
The responsibility is mine, not his. It's time to get back on track and get back to rollers. Let's not criticize our efforts to clean things up, okay? I really know you understand where I am coming from Kelly.

Tony,
Are we going back to heavy censorship? Seams to me the previous moderators are being heavy moderated. That is just my observation. I agree with Kelly. No need to respond or justify just aknowledge. Best of luck.
