Region 8B is not flying until Nov 3-10.
Sadly I will not be flying this year.
I can not keep flying my A team that far into hawk season.

Keith,
That's odd...when I posted my article here about changing the national championship to allow regions to fly when they can best avoid the sharks, I got several responses from guys out your way to the effect, "What hawk problem? We don't have a hawk problem and the molt is easy to deal with." What a load of crap, eh? I have had one entire region not fly this year, so far, because they have locked down to save their birds. Yeah, why change anything....just keep pretending there is no problem......Geesh!
YITS,
Cliff

Cliff,
I don't have an answer.
I like separation between the World Cup and the Fall Fly.
I would rather deal with the molt than the hawks.

NO HAWK PROBLEM???
Must not be reading the news. Our Region is a mess right now.
Our RD had several issues come up that caused him to re-schedule. Now someone else will have to run the fly.
We will still have a qualifier, but the number of fliers is way down. If it weren’t for all the new fliers in Yakima area we wouldn't have enough
.
I lost (3) of my 11 bird team between the qualifier and finals last fall, and another 2-3 getting ready for the World Cup. I don't get enough good ones to take those kind of losses.
