Ken the club started out great but some of the districks didnt agree with the new fly rules. Some districts wanted to use the NBRC rules exclusively. They said the new depth rules and style and quality rules would benift the breeders with better quality birds. Then we agreed every districk could use there own fly rules with the exception of the sectional fly. Everthing was going fine until the P.R.A. came on the scene and a new national roller cluc was formed. Then the majority of the districks started their own club and they all went down the tube so to speak. The P.R.A. eventually broke up too! You see fanciers jealousy, narcotics, alcohol, and poor sportsmanship took its tole in the roller breed. Can you imagine all the talent that was wasted all those years. Its a shame what happened in a breed we love. Three districks contiued for a long time and one came to a end when i moved to Missouri. Your right Ken some people do all the work while others lolly gate. It gets old alright and a person cant carry on forever doing the majority of the work in any given club. Ive been promoting the roller breed all my life and sportsmanship and friendship is very important to me. The NBRC started out to promote the roller breed very well and to make sportmanship compulsary. Can you imagine how many roller breeders i recruted into the NBRC club. For many years the NBRC has been in a tailspin and no one knows when it will stop. I dont fly in the NBRC annual fly or W,C. fly anymore because of poor sportsmanship. I plan on writting about my experiences im California and Missouri in the near future. Rollers in the fancy,Ray
