Mark,
If you have them in a breeding pen with a wire avary (cage), where they can become familiar with their surroundings. You should have no problem when you decide to break them out. Just make sure and not feed them the day before breaking them out, and it wouldn't hurt to only feed them a half ration the day before that. You want them hungry when break them out for the first couple times!!

Mark,
Welcome to the site.
Looks like you got your hands on some real nice rollers.
Must be nice to able to get birds from a Guy that is getting out of rollers.
I bet there good one's.
What was the Guys Name that you got them from ?
There has to be someone on here that would know Him.
Did he say what Family of birds the birds go back to ?

Mark if you wanna get into these birds for pleasure that's fine but if you are thinking of joining the AERC and flying in competition i would start off with good stock from a reputable flyer who does well in competitions. It will save you a lot of time n effort getting your family established.
I am just trying to help you and not to do the things that i did because i wasted years messing around with pigeons from here n there to be on a road to nowhere.
