bman,
Do you know how to get good rich recessive colored birds like we have seen here lately with all of these great pictures?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Richard, all I can tell you is both birds have to carry r-red in order to produce one.Although the self colored birds seem to carry a richer color. ---------- Ron Borderline lofts

Ron,
Thank you for the information. I will try them with the self colored birds when I put them together.

For good Recessive Reds use T-Pattern, Smokey and Bronze. Or use T-Pattern Ash Red as a base. Also, Indigo will darken or deepen the color of recessive reds. Indigo enhances the bronzing on a pigeon, which improves recessive reds. Spread, spreads the pigment helping to eliminate the bluish rumps and tail feathers. The combination does wonders for a recessive red. ---------- Alan
