Pat,
You have any photos of Plona or J. Leroy Smith bred birds. I have a couple myself but would love to add more to my collection.
Do you have any video of their birds? I have one that was recorded at John White's loft (Iowa) that showed Plona bred birds that I would watch from time to time.

Above are some photos of the 2007 youngsters bred with feathers foot. The Grizzles photoed are more line bred from J. Leroy stuff while the Black and Blue Bar are more from the Plona/Tom Stone (both from PA) stuff.

Not to raise any eyebrows or nothing... but this particular line of performing pigeons can produce some of the deepest rollers I've ever seen. JMO

The cock to these is your dark check and the hen was the only one I had left from Charlie Albaugh,they have since went to my brother with the plona hen,having to much fun training your young ones! thank you for some of the finest rollers I have seen!YOU ARE A CREDIT TO THIS HOBBY!

You know Pat.... after taking a second look... your bird looks a little bit like Richard Jaconettes famous "BLACK RAIN".
Now this is merely my own personal opinion.... someone else just might feel otherwise.
