Kenny,
Here is the website....it works great. Just put it in an area that you have rats or mice...put the dog food at the back of the trap.....and then ZAP...all done...pick it up and dump it. The red light on top will flash if it has been tripped. Just turn it off and then back on...you will see a quick flash of the light when you turn it on...that just shows that the batteries have enough juice for a kill.
I will say that they do not like moisture or being in a damp place...the moisture will trip it. So I have to keep it in the loft during the winter....just put it close to were you think the mice or rats are hanging out.

Kel, She is gonna be okay. She was swelled up like a balloon. Vet did blood work and her functions were all pretty much normal. They kept her over the weekend and did their thing to her. Got her back yesterday and she was still pretty swollen. She looks much better today. Swelling has gone way down and she is acting like she feels a lot better.
I know she had to work to get to the poison I put out. I put it in places I thought she would never get to it. What I spent on vet bills I coulda bought 5-6 of the zappers. Thanks for your concern. ---------- V99 Flippin`The Bird!

Kenny,
Were you using Decon for poison?
I build “Mouse Hotels” and set them around the yard. They are pet proof (cats, dogs and birds). If you go to my post “Getting to Know J_Star” you will see, I think in the third picture where it shows my breeder loft and part of a kitbox. Just between the steps of the breeder loft deck and the plants, there is a box there that I use for a step when I put water in the kitbox. That is a Mouse Hotel. It is built by 2x4 treated wood and the top made out of two 2x6 treated wood. I drill 1’’ holes in the opposite direction. In the inside, on the roof of the box, I use 3’’ screw and screw the mouse poison to the roof. The poison is made by 3M which is formed in a square shape and has a hole in the center where the screw goes through. It keeps it off the ground so moisture will not mold the poison. The box is heavy and animals can not move it of flip it. It works excellent. Some times I put two of the poison sticks using two screws so that I can leave it for long period of times without checking on it. The dimension is 8” square. I have several of them around my yard and around storage areas. It is that simple.

Jay, I have my "spots". Up until now she has`nt bothered them. I think her natural curiosity got the best of her. Thats the only bad thing about a highly intelligent dog. Their need to satisfy their curiosity. ---------- V99 Flippin`The Bird!

Kenny, I just got one of those rat zappers too. Got it yesterday at the hardware store where my teenage sons both work. Rats are very smart and are cautious of strange object in their environment. From what I was told, it's best to put the bait in the zapper and let the rats get used to it and have a few free meals. After that they will keep coming back without fear. Turn it on after a few free meals and BAM! Happy zapping!

Hey Guys,
If your dog or cat was to eat a rat that had been poisoned, would that then poison your pet??? Just something I would like to know as my wife uses bar bait in the house! I went ahead and ordered a rat zapper anyway. I love my dogs to much to let them get poisoned even if it was secondhand poison.
