I just locked my young birds as i could not keep on taking the onslaught by the BOP. I lost a 4 birds over the weekend and just decided to look them up.I already had locked up my older kit. It was unsual for me to fly this late in the year, but the BOP are staring to pass by almost every day so my birds will not see the blue skys till spring its just frustrating to lose young birds.I live in riverside county and its getting alot of BOP.

I lost 5 over the weekend, unfortunate for the cooper that came by today,he hit a bird and the roller fell on the street,i just sat and watched the hawk try unsuccessfully to retrieve his pray, finally he came down on the dead roller,it was so sad (Moderated) the poor hawk and the dead roller got run over and over and over and over, they are still out their as flat as cardboard.
Just thought i would share this sad story.

feel for the roller.if it wasn't for the bop that would'nt happen. Iv got some little critter thats tormenting my birds. he's half the size of a roller takes them down in the woods then go's right up and grabs another. my birds come back to the kit box just before dark unharmed. hope that little terror go's away or a bop gets him. keepem spinin Don

Hope I didn't just jenks myself! LOL

What are you talking about Spanky? SGVS have great kits, we just have issues keeping them alive from the BOP's. It seems like as soon as we get them working, we start losing them... Hopefully next season will be much better for all of us.

Las Vegas; I wouldn't mind flying against you guys cuz I could always try my luck on the roulette table...

Kid,

I have never shown a bird for a show. I don't know anything about show birds and by the way I did fly in the Fall Fly. The reason other members didn't fly in the WC or FF is because the time of the fly's they didn't have a good kit up because of the bop issues in this area. 5 of our members flew in the FF and out of the 20 or so member only 10 or so are active in the flys. It doesn't matter to me if you guys want to fly with another club or with us, let me know when, I don't mind making the trip to vegas. I'm sure everyone will put on a good show. (in the air not the cage)

By the way did you fly in the wc and ff? What's your name?

Don't worry you didn't offend me. I feel the same way about the fly's but would rather have a great kit up. Either way I'll fly as long as I have a kit.

Peace Bro'.

Hey Kelly, I see Dago has caused many of us to look back at our younger days and remember the many things we wish we never said or did.

I wonder is there a difference between being wonderfully ignorant or willfully stupid? The guy is popping off and I sense willfully disrespecting others on the site trolling for a reaction.

In the internet business and site forums its called being a troll. Trolls are not welcome.

His approach is violating the posting policy and Val is merely doing what he was instructed by me to do. He is putting the guy on notice to straighten up or he is out.

I appreciate that Val is taking arrows for me on this so that I don't have to. Kid has got to know his limitations on this site or he will walk on everyone if he is allowed.

If we don't do something now, it becomes a bigger problem later. I have little respect for his postings and find them tedious and monotonous. (Dictionary.Com) The more he types the more my first impression is being validated.

Kelly, I been doing this long enough, I can spot them a mile away. He and his little roller buddies are probably having a nice giggle at our expense as he prattles on about things he knows nothing about except for what someone filled his head with.

It's got to be really funny for him to watch a former site moderator go at a current one for enforcing the site policies. If I were him I would be laughing my rear off! LOL

The kid's behavior pattern is obvious, he apologizes and proceeds with the same attitude? Come on, he's to be held responsible for what he types, stop asking the moderator to coddle him.

Hey Kelly, what would you call it then when he insinuates the other guys club is about showing rollers in a cage because hardly anyone competed in their club challenge?

He's trying to press buttons, perhaps I am wrong, but here is what he said in that section of thread:

As the Precident of the San Gabriel Valley Spinners,i take full responcibility for not going through with the challenge fly,Time ran short,we had the F/F in Sep, the Bob Scott Show in October, wich that took time to put together and the BOP didnt let up,i thnk our priority was with the 5 members that where getting ready for the F/F.
No hard feeling with the Vegas guys im sure we would have had a good time, maybe on the future.

Hey Spanky, I know who his uncle is, his uncle emailed me to tell me. He also informed me that he would have his nephew delete his posts and not post again.

Well I'll be...

Kelly, the guy was trolling and never truly cared about dialogging with any of us. My first suspicions were correct.

You do this long enough and you learn to separate the wheat from the chaff fairly quickly. So long kid.

Hey Spanky, glad you are enjoying this site. If you have any suggestions, you can reach me by using the CONTACT US button at the top right.

I am not at liberty to say who his uncle is, but he is aware of the situation. So how's Southern California now-a-days? I moved to Seymour, Missouri from Bellflower, California 2 years ago.

I love this country living! Rolling hills, quiet days and nights, oh and tornado's. LOL
