Sorry about your lost bird .. I see you have posted it on 911 Pigeon Alert. We will certainly let you know if the bird gets reported to us. I know this may sound ridiculous, but those of you with lost birds need to not only post them to 911 Pigeon Alert but also check on your local animal shelter listings. I cannot even begin to tell you how many banded pigeons end up in animal shelters. Pasadena Humane is especially good in at least getting the birds to me to try and get back home. We are also getting some good pigeon response from some of the LA City and County shelters, but most don't know how to try and trace the bands, don't have the time, and/or have never had a good response when they did find the owner .. just some food for thought ..
http://www.petfinder.com and http://www.petharbor.com/ are also good sites to look for your lost birds on.

Question for you Rudy of RXRL Loft .. how/where would we on 911 Pigeon Alert go to find you if your bird was reported to us???
I was going to ask if this was an NPA band, but if it's metal, it isn't ..

When a bird fails to come home, I always say she went out to get a snack or two.

Hi Rudy, I'm so sorry you've lost this little roller. I've put it in the data base and will see if we've had any matches. If so we will certainly contact you. Please let us know should the bird return. We'll keep our fingers crossed too. Thanks, Mary
