I am back in the roller hobby after an 18 year absence of birds. I have been reading posts and gaining knowledge that I had forgotten or had never known before with the help of this great site. I was looking for birds and hoping to find a fancier in my local area. As luck would have it, my timing happened to coincide with the NBRC auction. There was a particular firefighter from this site who had donated birds that I was definitely interested in. I recently picked up my auction birds from this Rock N Roll guy and had a chance to see some serious Ruby/Emami(flashover?)spinners. I was so amazed after all these years to see this kind of quality. At the time I was in the "listen and observe mode", and I don't even think I was reacting to these flat out smokin' birds. I was just taking in the moment. Now that I have these bloodlines in my loft I can't wait for my future flys. If you have not guessed by now, Paul Fullerton is the man and he has helped me in many ways to get off on the right foot. Along with his advice and anyone else's out there, I am all ears and ready to lock-n-load.

Welcome G-Roll,
There is a vast amount of knowledge here. Most of the old timers have already seen it, heard it or smelled it!!
Sometimes you may need to turn on the Bull S@#T filter, :)) LOL

It was really nice to meet you. I am glad that my kit was doing OK that day. They were still in the moult...but at least you got to see the birds that you bought at the auction do it in the air. THey did put on a pretty good show!! Just so you know....you took the BACK BONE from my A-team...they flew very confused and lost today..LOL!!
You should get some good birds from the young birds and that Breeder Cock that you got was one of my best...just had to move forward...caught me at a weak moment...to be honest...If I did not like you....you would not have gotten him...I am picky where my breeders go....Ask...Kenny Hartman!!! LOL!!
I am glad you got to see it all that day and had the time to chat....
HE EVEN SAW MY BEST B-TEAM bird get nailed by a REDTAIL....Just when I said that I was going to move it to the A-team...BAM got nailed...Sad day!!
Hope those birds work out for you...I will help you in every way possible during your training and LEARNING the birds. YOu have got some good blood with Mort, Chuck Roe and Ruby Rollers....and the Flash Over birds that I have created.
Call me anytime...!!!!
Rock and ROLL
Paul
