Hello All, okay, here is the newest site feature and it is a tool bar!
This tool bar will add itself to your browser and then allow you to enhance your web surfing. It will not slow your computer or install spyware or anything bad on your PC. Certain features will only be available by installing the toolbar.
Various buttons will allow you to:
Search Bar: Allows you to type in a word or topic and searches using Google search engine.
All Roller Talk: Allows you to instantly click over to All Roller Talk 24/7
Chat: Only available through the new tool bar
Disease Chart: Quickly lookup pigeon illness, find the right medicines and purchase with a click
Products: Complete access to our now very full e-store; over 99 products currently listed with more to come
Sale: Special sales, closeouts and inventory reduction specials; only available with Tool Bar installation.
Weather: Provide your local weather temperature and extended forecast. “Is the weather good to fly your birds?”
Radio: A special tool bar radio with several standard music formats and the ability to add your own local and special radio stations covering all formats
Some browsers may not like the radio feature. We will update you as we learn which ones and how to make it work on them. The Chat feature has been brought back and will be closely monitored for posting violations and unscrupulous individuals. LOL
All in all, the install procedure is basically a seamless and simple, in less than a minute, you can be enjoying all the features on the new toolbar.

Tony,
Besides a possible monetary gain for you by having the tool bar, are there any other benefits by having the toolbar versus the past chat tab? If not, why did you change it?...just curious

Hey Jerry, thanks for that question:
Under the previous features/benefit model, the Chat tab did not meet its revenue projections versus our cost in time, effort and money to maintain it as a worthwhile feature. In other words, it wasn't a "win win" scenario.
With this new feature/benefit model (tool-bar), I am anticipating that those downloading it are the ones that see it as one method to support the site and in turn find value in the features it offers, especially the "SALE" tab which will include special discounts on products available ONLY to those who download and use the tool-bar.
No one has to download the tool-bar if they do not want, but if they do, I have made extra features and benefits available to those that do. A 'win win" scenario.
I am sure you find nothing wrong with us providing a feature that benefits both the visitors and RPDC do you?
Let me re-list the tabs:

Hey Ray, does this mean anything to you?
"The toolbar will not work with Camino or Safari, however it will work with the Mac version of Firefox.
Use the Mac version of Mozilla Firefox and the toolbar will work fine (with the exception of the radio)."
Does this sound like something that will help you?

hi Tony, I was on the chat last night and there were 2 other guys in there but on my "online" screen it only showed me. is there something I did wrong or wasnt seeing?
Other than that it works great. Thank you and I look forward to seeing more of the group in there.

I had the most hecktick day, came home, pulled up RPDC and clicked on some music on my new toolbar, kicked back and got caught upon the daily post! Stress gone!!!

Hey Val, I am really glad you were able to enjoy the music feature. You can even go find your favorite music style and include it as one of your radio stations!
Next I am going to work on other ideas some have offered up as well as finishing up a couple current projects. Staying busy!

Hey Butch, next time try using your "refresh" button on your main tool-bar, or try exiting the chat and re-entering. Let me know how that goes.

Thanks for looking into everything.
I run Safari, thats why I can't download.
I think its a major upgrade for me to run firefox.
You need to do what's best for your company.
I will figure something out.
At least I can still post......lol

Okay Ray, did some digging and came up with some reviews for you. Apparently you can load FireFox and install it without purchasing it.
Some online reviews:

Pros: A mac friend told me about firefox.I was looking for an alternative to safari. I just did not feel safari was flexible enough. I tried firefox and I was hoooked. Hasmany features and add on, tab features and more. Bookmarks work great which Safari 's did not.Constantly updated , easy to load."
There are more reviews expressing both pro and con views but I think it is worth a shot if you are up to it.

Find the English version under the Mac OS X column heading and click it. The file has the "dmg" extension which should work for Mac.
