Reading your "about me" profile made me laugh. I too remember the old days of catching the commies in the Fontana,Bloomington,Riverside CA. areas as a kid. It was a good time in life.. We would catch between 50 and 100 a night and sell them to Jerry Higgins for a dollar a piece, which he would sell to dog trainers all over the country.

Maybe this method needs to be started again with youth. That way there will be no reason to introduce falcons to be municipalities or metropolitan areas.
So, in other words you are saying because you guys quit doing that, they introduced falcons (lol).

in some area the commies are more wild because people dont feed them on the road... when i was a kid they used to be part of my slingshot practice...

feels kinda sad now that i remember their head slipping off their body but not then...we all give it a nasty look with laughter at the end...

Good old days , yes i remember going into the SAN GABRIEL mission early in the morning befor people started feeding the the pigeons and catching 30 to 50 of them. Then jumping on our bikes and heading to old man JOES ON MISSION BLVD and selling them for a buck . Of course we kept the rollers if i only knew what had back then, had no idea what PRC ment. The good ol days . Ron

Yep Ron,
I remember many a birds that were banded back then. Heck, we kids just thought it was a better commie than the rest..Heck, Ol' Higgins may have used some of those banded "commies" to start his current family????... Calm down guys, it was a joke...well, maybe!
