For those of you that live in the colder climates, do you cover the wire floor on your kitboxes, or leave them open during the winter?

Hey Jerry, my kit boxes have a "skirt" around the legs for aesthetics (blocks the view of poop). I do know that it cuts down on wind chill as it keeps the wind from getting to them from below. ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

I thought about doing that Tony, as I have 15 or so pieces of 4' roof metal left over from a job.. Just might try that route tomorrow.

Jerry,.....When I had my kitboxes outside I had a tray about 4" under the wire floor, to catch all the dropings. So I didn't get any up-draft thru the kitbox. But now I have all of my kitboxes inside of my new loft and I don't have to worry about drafts. ---------- Fly High and Roll On Paul
