I have just found out a friend of mine Paul Noon has had hes birds stolen.
A guy that was really doing well in competition in the UK over the last few years getting his family of birds established.
Some low life scum of the earth person has stolen every single bird of Pauls.
If anyone in the UK comes across any new birds for sale please keep this in mind and check out the ring numbers.
We need to catch these parasites and act accordingly and believe me they will get what they deserve.

Not good.....do you have much trouble with bird theft in the UK? We do here in the U.S. especially in California and my friends in Baltimore say it is bad there as well.

Jim
I think Paul had a lot of diffrent colour birds.
blues, blacks, mealys, Grizzles the usual stuff.

Stealing birds in the UK is a rare occasion but yorkshire seems to get a fair share of pigeon thiefs.
Paul Noon lives in the Manchester outskirts in (Lancashire

Some lowlife took all Pauls time and effort of getting his birds to an high standard all away in a couple of minutes i just hope they feel proud of themselves.

Stealing pigeons is a big problem in many places in the world. My pigeons were stolen at least three times while living in California. One person stole my pigeons two times and was caught and i got the majority of my birds back. This same person along with his brother and friend broke into other lofts and various companys. They were caught on various occastions but were minors so they were released scott free. One boy joined the service and was never heard of again. The two other boys lived a life of crime when they were considered young adults. One was a member of the local roller club until a ew years ago. The club members voted him out of the club for life. A few years ago a national club had his name on the ballor list for vice-president. In the state of Missouri only one case of stolen pigeons has been reportrd. That is in the last ten years. There are lot of places in the world that are hot-beds where pigeons are stolen frequently. Good luck! Ray

WELL LADS ,

i heard about pauls birds being stolen by scum ..... a few days ago , first thing i asked was " was there any travellers / gypsys asking about the birds or watching them ? " .... 99 .9 % of thefts in the north east of animals and birds trace back to them .... theft is like breathing to them ... second nature !!

i really do hope that he gets the birds back and the theives get what they deserve

all the best

sorry to hear about this... I hate pigeon theif... Imma tell you guys something I'm havent told anyone... this might ruin my reputation in the future of meeting other roller fancier... When I was a little kid about 5-6 years ago my brother stole some from this guy top rollers in San Diego where I used to live... even then I was like why did you steal it for... I mean all he told me is that this guy was a very nice guy and very generous... he sold some of his top rollers for cheap to my friends also... I told him that if he is really that nice and friendly, he dont deserve and no-one should be steal from... I didn't get into rollers until 3 years later... Many of you guys probably know him... His name is John Jone and yes he did get his bird back... I was terrify when I tried to speak to him or buy some rollers from him... He yelled at me though he didn't know it was my brother that stole his birds... This has change me until this day... me and my brother haven't had any of getting along... I am looking forward to speaking to John Jone in the future...
Hopefully Paul gets his bird back...

Thanks for sharing your story with us all and no we don't feel bad towards you. It took a man to tell us that happening and its all in the past.
However Paul's pigeons was stolen not by kids it had all hallmarks of a adult thief or thieves who wanted these birds badly and knew Paul's set up.
But it will all come out in the whitewash believe me.

Hey silentroll, I'm guessing you lived in Linda Vista, Im glad J.A. got his bird back. John Jones is a good man, I definitley looked up to him and his quality of birds when I was growing up. Pigeon thieves are the worst of its kind. Ive had theives steal countless birds from me and my father when I was growing up, lucky all the fancy breeds, never the "plain" ol' rollers, if they only knew what they could do in the air! hearing you confess of you're brothers sin really made me mad, but to think of it, im glad you manned up enough to say it and after all things were said and done, john recieved his birds back. Its funny, your brother at the time probably just ruined the chances for any serious beginning roller fancier to get birds from J.A. for cheap, what a loss. Did you or your brother go to kearny high school?

I see, no I actually lived in South East San Diego. I attended Kearny from spring of 2000 to graduating year 2002. Well im glad you moved to a better environment. I hope your older brother is on the right path now. I hear John is going to get the paul platz memorial show going again. I havent been to it since 2001 when it was hosted by the san diego spinners. Anyways I dont know if he made a mence with what you're brother did, even if years ago, I wouldnt, personally, I mean would you?
