Well guys here’s a question, I know a lot of people say you can’t breed dark color to dark color but I’ve seen more than one person that breed’s blue bar to blue bar, and black to black in some cases blue check to blue check and so on.
What can be the consequences of that?

Once you find a good cockbird breed him to several different hens. You`ll be surprised at what you get.
Color doesn`t really play a part in breeding until you get to the point where it sometimes identifies a certain line by pattern or markings within a certain color.
The only real use I have for color is for identifying a bird. I am satisfied with the colors I get just from breeding for performance. I get plenty of ooohs and ahhs. ---------- V99 Flippin`The Bird!

Never look at color; looking for performance characteristics and other intangeble characteristics. Color doesn't mean a pissing thing to me.
