Yes, the depth isn't a factor as long as it is score-able. The further they fall, the longer it takes to regroup and do it all again. I personally like to see them around the 20' mark. That gives them plenty of depth, without dropping to far, unable to regain for another quick bust.

My older kit busted 3 times within 30 seconds yesterday without ever moving. A deep bird could not have rekitted fast enough to go again with the group.

I'd rather see and excellent quality 20 foot roll, than an average 50 foot roll. Depth is secondary to me.

Right on Milo. Velocity, quality and style beat exaggerated depth any day. Velocity, fast. Quality, high H or better. Style, clean into and out of the spin, coming out in the same direction and straight back to the kit.
