The roller that got eaten was probably sick. I throw her up to fly with her mate but then she just went down and right over the fence as soon as she went over the fence i knew she was lunch. The dogs are big. My neighbor had to rebuild the wooden fence with some metal wire so that the dog wont knock down the fence. I'll probably throw some rat poison over next time. LOL J/K.........

J/K if the dogs are in there own yard, I would not be throwing them rat poision!! You might lose more than a sick bird. JMHO! ps, now there dog will probably get sick from the bird and you'll have a vet bill! Sorry you lost a roller. ---------- Tapp

Jim, I had my migrators in here a couple of weeks ago. Now it's down to my big lady resident coopers. She got one the other day when I foolishly flew after a couple of weeks lock down. Yesterday she scrambled them all over the place and then drove them high. She was hungry as she followed them up to about four hundred feet before she gave up. They flew for two and a half hours. So we are on lock down again, or at least until I want to take another chance. Gregg.

Just going by what the vet told me years ago. So much for that advice. Can't go back on him with it, he is eight years deceased. Dark Chocolate. The stuff they cook with is what is suppose to be bad for them. But please don't try it on your puppy. Gregg. Just an afterthought. I've heard of and seen dogs get chocolate and then barf it on the rug. Could be that yours has had the time to get use to it. Wonder if you remember if she had any problems with it at first when she was young?
