Here are some pictures of my newest lofts. I'm adding vents along the bottom for extra ventalation. The tarps come down on all 4 sides to control the amount of light and ventalation I want and if it's cold and raining I just bring all sides down and they are all comfy and cozy inside. I'll be adding breeding boxes to the back walls. These Lofts cost $180 to build including the V Perches. They work great for me here in southern Calif.

They measure 8'x8'x8' to keep it simple. I'm using woodstove pellets as a deep litter system and it works well. The only problem using the pellets is that my birds keep nesting in them! so far I have 7 squeakers 3 hatched today and the others are about 25 days old. ---------- Ed B.
