You took the words right out of my mouth, Jerry! Greg is a good man!

On Nick's post,I have written a dozen responses, but I just cant hit the post button! I know what he is trying to do, but I'm not sure its the right aproach! There is an old saying about "burning bridges"! The only way I feel that I can survive as a moderator, is to not get personal with these guys! I feel like I am between a rock and a hard spot!

I'will tell you that I don't plan on going anywhere! Seperating into these different groups is not helping the hobby!I thought that was the goal here!!!! I'm loyal to my friends here!

Val,
You and I have never had a single disagreement about anything!..with that being said, remember that before you became a moderator here to help Tony, that most of these people were your friends, and most still are. Guess what I am trying to say is that friends should come before a calling. You have done a fine job with this, and I have faith that you will continue to do so, but let those that want to speak, speak..As long as it's in an adult fashion!..Your friend!

Thats what I was trying to say in my post! I have no intentions in getting involved in this one!

My last comment on this is, I think a couple of those guys on that list are eating this up! They are still getting the attention that they lust for! I'm not gonna mention them again! They walked out on us!

Pillars, my ass!

Good night!

You are sitting here on an open site that welcomes all, asks only for civility towards others and gives you an opportunity to help shape many young roller minds towards the heights of a rewarding hobby. You don't really want to desert them to me do you? Gregg

I haven't been this scared since 9-11 or when I seen the exorcist!!! KGB

Kenny Billings is still here, but for some reason has decided to mellow out. He must be getting ready to run for some office within the NBRC or something. Nick

Nick, No fear! I won't be running for any office in the NBRC or other wise for many years. There is no cure for AIDS! The only cure is to not have sex with those with Aids. Some people, like some blue checks look perfectly normal on the outside, but are sick and impure on the inside! Every time one of them breeds, a huge number of other birds become infected with the disease! Then every family that comes into contact with them, becomes infected!! All we can do is set back and watch as the breed is infected, polluted and crossed up!! We can only try to keep our own birds Aids free!!!!!!

Ignorance is bliss, and everyone seams to be much happier these days!! LOL (Moderated) LOL KGB

Hey Dago, saw your post. There is a place on the front page where you can report posting violations.

I would prefer that if you have an issue of what I allow or don't allow to stay up on the discussion board that you would contact me using that reporting option to do so.

Discussing this kind of stuff on the board is not allowed. VERBOTTEN!

Nick.I am still here.My time is limited to where I can just sit down and post much anymore. And yes there has been a couple things that has happened in the roller world that has left a bad taste in my mouth but I am still standing.

You just about drawed me in on this one but when we have Gregg around who needs me to talk about color.LOL.
Most everyone knows I breed for roll and color so its no use debating the fact.Just ain't no way anyone could change my mind after seeing all them good deep rolling color birds I have raised.LOL
After Hunting season I will have more time to play computer stuff.
Nick remember one thing we are getting old and it don't take much for the next generation to push us out of the way.LOL. David

Iam no ROCKET SCIENTIST but, it seems to me that this type of thread is a "CATCH 22". No one is RIGHT and no one is WRONG. Their will always be topic that are going to be DEBATED. This is just my whole take on this color subject.

David,
You will have to take over for a while after next Tuesday as I have to go back to work for at least another twenty months till retirement. We need someone to watch the candy store. Smile.
And yes, I am well on my way to rebuilding my family my way within my family of color birds and having a ball doing it.

Paul,
Your right. There should be no winners or losers, at least not as regards a hobby. There will always be competition winners and losers as well there should be. But when it comes to appreciating each other, I already believe the hobby has taken great strides. The vast majority of fanciers do not feel like Crusaders from the Middle Ages.
But some think we are easy targets, so they take their shots. Some have nothing better to do, so they take their shots. Me, to some degree I love the fact that what I do irritates them. The other side of me loves a good argument, even if there will never be winners or losers. Most discussions never resolve many of our issues, the intelligent/logical mind realizes that. What should happen is that we get the opportunity to understand where other people come from and learn to appreciate them for what they are and believe in.
Gregg.

Gregg. And that is where its all at.Enjoying what we do.
When I was introduced to the JT rollers my whole world changed.Never a dull moment unless I allow it.LOL.
When I started learning about the genetic side of rollers I found out that I could enjoy another side of rollers and actually enjoy the genetic side as much as flying them.
Just wish I knew more. And thats why I spend any amount of time on these forums.Hoping for that little tidbit of info that will help me in developing a better roller.
I also enjoy meeting everyone on the forums as I have made many friends that I will never get to meet but my life has been rewarded by their friendship.

Wait untill you retire. You will wonder how you ever got anything done while you were working.
You will be able to spend all day with the birds and not get anymore done than you did when you were working.

I will watch the store but will need you to take care of the big stuff.LOL. David
