I've been to this event in the past and this is one hell of a pigeon show. Fanciers from all over the country/world come to this event and show their birds. In the past they've had an auction on Sat. afternoon with a lot of big named roller guys donating birds. You can pick up great birds at a good price. Log on to Los Angeles Pigeon Club for details. I plan on attending as it is just over the hill from my home.
THE PAGEANT OF PIGEONS/ L.A.P.C. (This event will have every kind of pigeon you can think of)

I attended the Pageant Of Pigeons today. Here's some pics from it: http://www.rims.net/2007PageantOfPigeons.

About a week before the show opened, I saw a post that there were only 2 or 3 Rollers that had been entered. When I was actually there today, there were a lot more rollers than that .. would guess I saw maybe 50-75 Rollers .. Show Rollers, Parlor Rollers, and Birmingham Rollers, and some in a special little display that were called Bell Necked Rollers or Bell something .. sorry to be a Roller doofus ..

Anyway, it was a nice show, and it would have been great to see more Rollers there.

There were TONS of Tumblers of all types .. literally hundreds and hundreds of them.

Do you guys think the poor turn out on behalf of the roller clubs had anything to do with the fact that they are under the watchful eye of the US dept. of fish & Wildlife?
