First Welcome to the site! And second you got to feed them up, I would recomend you give them a mix blend of 16% to get them going and then you can always cut back! Good Luck!

Welcome Lee first of all. How old are your birds? They could be TOO hungry, not wanting to fly. If they are very young, I would feed them up. Give them all they can eat for about 4 days, then fly them on the 5th. But then it will be a good idea to keep them alittle hungry, cut back on the ration of feed to about 1 tbs per bird, to get them easier to trapp for you the next time you fly them.

Hi lee72,
Try them on a 12 percent mix for a while flying 2 days off and one day on if they are mature birds. Everyday if youngsters. If there is no change, assuming you have 20 birds in the team or close to it, find out which bird/s is bringing the team down early by splitting the team in half and flying seperately for a few days or until you spot the stiff.
Easy on babying them too much if they are mature birds, they don't require much outside of preventative maintenance every so often.

Lee, welcome to the site.

At times like this, that is when I want a cooper to come by!!!

You never answered how old your birds are! That makes a big difference. Also what type of conditioner you put in their water. Also tell us how you wormed them and what did you use to worm them and how long. All this information will help. Thanks,

Jay

Hi

Feeed them 2 table spoons per bird of 12% or higher protein for 2 days ones a day. Feed them in the morning every day and them give them water for 6 minutes then take it away. The 3rd day give them pure wheat 1 tbs per bird, water after. The 4th day fly them in the morning only. If they don't want to fly make them fly, use a flag or a ballon to scare them or even take them down the block and release them. Fly older birds together and no young bird. This will make them fly for sure.

You need to have them in a kit box also if you have them in a big loft they have plenty of fly time and don't want to fly.

I hope this helps, let us know what work.
