Then don't leave feed in the tray. You're encouraging them with the feed.

Keep the poison in place for about 2 weeks and you won't see them any more. When you see 1 mouse that means there are about a dozen or more that you don't see. Give it time and be patient. Put the poison in many places where you think the mice or the rats hide. Fore example, by bushes, around buildings like sheds and garages and around outside storage area such as fireplace woods, tires or what have you. In about 2 to 3 weeks they will be gone. Even though they are gone, you need to keep up with the poison so that they won't return. Also varmints proof your loft. See where there are holes that the mice can use to get into the loft and plug them. Use steel wool to plug the holes. Also don't keep feed laying around in the tray at night to discourage them from coming into the loft. Remember where there are mice or rats there are always sever health implication to your birds. Good luck.

Tou, You will end up with some very serious health issues if the mice are not completely gone. Do youself and your birds a favor and eradicate them all and keep them gone. Joe ---------- J.M.Urbon Lofts A Proven Family of Spinners http://www.freewebs.com/jmurbonlofts/
