Steve, on every fly they are showing you speed, depth and big breaks! Steve has been working on his family of birds since 2000, and now it is starting to show! Big, watch him for next's years fly season!

Hey bigwilly, what I liked was that all the essential "raw ingredients" were there so that I could breed a line of rollers that allowed me to develop my Ruby Roller strain demonstrating:

* Roll
* Velocity
* Depth
* Control
* Type

You can't get from a gene-pool what is not there, and this line of birds was well bred to begin with. Without trying to sound flippant, all I have done is merely apply my own breeding system to those birds that stand out to me, both on the ground and in the air.

Remember, a large part of success in rollers is the person managing the breeding and flying programs and more importantly, is his ability to spot good birds and plug them into the his own system or breeding philosophy.

This family has allowed me to have allot of fun and excitement watching rollers, from special individual top-specimen rollers to concert performance from well-trained and managed kits.

What I see keeps me wanting to breed and raise rollers through the ups and downs of flying year after year.
