These are some of the birds I started with 8 years ago. The pictures aren't very good because they are old.

Steve, I noticed a heavey cear around the eyes on some of the birds. Is that a trait in this family of birds!! They look real good even with old pictures.

Even old pictures look good with birds like those. They still show that they are great looking birds Steve. I think I`ve seen some of them before , or their young still carry the type very well. I know you got a lot of pics of the newer stuff, and I`m sure I wont get tired of seeing them. ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts

Jay, as they aged they did get a heavy cear, but the birds out of the don't have it. Some of the bird on the other post are 6 and 7 years old. Steve

Steve, are you still using any of the original birds? How close to 778/991 are your birds?

Gotspin, I am not using any of the orignal birds anymore. Some of the birds were grandkids and great grandkids. None directly out of 778/991, but some were out of half brother/sister matings. Which put 778/991 on the top and bottom of the pedigree. Steve

Looks like the birds I see here in my area purchased from you. I guess the blood runs strong for them to still look like the originals. Had the chance to pick up these birds from the guy when he got out of birds but passed up on them because I all ready have a hand full in my own stuff. Thor

I like the Red Mottles and Pearl-eyed Blacks.
...however
I really like Spanky's Pepperhead Tort... or shall I say pearl-eyed Black Mottle. I like that one a lot too.
