I have an fly a lot of Hardesty birds. They are very popular here in the midwest. Todate they are the best birds I have, but I now have some other familys that might uproot them.

PAT66........I live in Ohio and I fly Hardesty/Roe birds. They are an easy family to train. Good for a beginner. Thats why I got them, I've been flying them for 3 1/2 yrs now. They are alot of other familys out thier to choose from too, but for me these birds are very exciting and enjoyable to watch fly. ---------- Fly High and Roll On Paul

Carl Hardesy bred and flew some good stock of rollers. He told me more than 10 percent rolled down and i told him that was to much. His reply was that it kept the roll coming with less stiff birds. My reply to him was no more than 10 percent should be rolldowns in order to maintain stability. Jack Meyers flew a kit of Hardesy rollers and they placed second to my stock. I thought they were good rollers for the few years they remained in California. I noticed they bred stock simular to some of mine and told Carl. I firmly believe the Carl Hardesy stock could be bred to some of my stock with good rsults. Carl Hardesy visited California with Jerry Bowman several times. They are both great guys in the roller fancy. I heard Carl no longer has rollers but James does. FRS. ---------- "Crystal Palace Roller Lofts" _______(Ray Sanchez)_______
