Hey 916....Guess Iam not with the majority this time....LOL. I don't lock down my birds at all. I just alternate my days and the times I let them out. I try to get them out at least twice aweek. Plus, the weather conditions has alot to do with when I can let them fly here in Ohio.

I don’t lockdown. I pay attention to my birds.
I Stop, Look & Listen.
When I arrive home every morning the first thing
I do is SNEAK around the corner and peek to see if there is
any outside activity in the fly pen. If I see no birds I know he is around and will not fly.
If all of the fly pens have birds in them
I will usually fly some birds.

I locked down but I am now looking to see who I could live without. Hate to lose one but just have to fly!

I flew seven kits on Saturday and Sunday....had a migrant Coopers make a pass but moved on.....I will only have to lock down in February.

everything that was spinning well, got locked up in late sept, early october. The rest all went into 1 kit and have been flying them whem work hours permit. Flew 5 times this past week , but got hit 3 times. lost 1 bird. I watch them close when flying low, because if a cooper is gonna hit , thats when he seems to do it here. A couple good yells and they usually give up.This kit is getting pretty active with a few decent performers now. kinda seems a shame to keep flying them now. A couple months ago I wasnt too concerned about losing any of them but now I`m getting a little un easy about them.

I tell my self that I'm on lock down but find it very hard not to fly them. I'll usually let my 3rd team out then if no attacks will move to my second then if still nothing then to my 1st team.
