You can tell when it cold, they puff up to stay warm.

How cold is it where your living? The stock birds look like their fluffed up. Good luck with those two stock birds. Ray

Nice looking birds, it was in the twenties this morning, with a 40mph wind. Southern Ohio.

I am still breeding I have put hay down in the loft and so far I have not lost the first one due to cold and I am on my third round so hopefully I can build an eleven bird kit soon I have 5 birds out of 2 rounds from 2 pair one pair laid 3 eggs and I fostered it out to another pair.and I lost a hen and her babies last round but since then her mate has paired up and got eggs already!! So things are good for now. I also got them moved to my new house and that went as easy as pie!!
