Richard,of all my years, and the time i have read this forum, these are the best pictures of what a roller should look like. They are the best, man you sure got the goods there. Keep it up. I bet they all are top notch ,fast rolling birds. you eat my heart out. when you got stock like that, you got to keep going. They cant get much better than that. they are the best i have ever seen. I had birds sence 1952. Some one got you started on the right leg. Please dont ever stop raising that strain. Golddigger39Mn --Minnesota flyer.

Great pics and birds. I recently puchased some yellows which i will try out in the spring. Friends say they had some yellows in the seventies which they called 60 - 40's because they would spin 60 to 40 feet all the time.I love the yellow bird in your pics. How well does it spin?

Thank you guys.I had to start over again in 2002.My FRIENDS helped me out.95% of my stock came from my very good friend and mentor Richard Luna. The 1st picture is my cock bird named "Palace In the Sun" No shit guys!! This bird was bred and flown by Richard Luna. This was a 3 second performer. A total jaw-dropper! Also the bird I'm holding (in the photo) is called "The Knock-Out Hen".She was a 60 to 70 ft. blurr spinner. Agian happened to be bred and flown by Richard Luna. No shit you guys! That's why I name my strain after her and her cousin's bloodline. Also inclued in this bloodline is my buddy Sal. Estrada's Red Devil stuff. She is #8 RED SELF hen.#2 is my other good friend Richard Espinoza's Dun Self cock that he gave me out of his kitbox. I got this bird in early 2004.Another pal and mentor, David Sanchez let me pick out a cock bird from his stock loft to use in 2002. This bird is from the English imports (from the late 1980's) and has Ollie Harris pedigree. Another bird I used was from Don Ouellette I got in 1998 and bred in 2002 onto the son of my "Knock-Out Hen".This mating gave me a 30 ft. spinning cock bird. The yellow self hen in the previous photo is top side Richard Luna's yellow self cock he give to my daughter Amanda when she was 10 years old then, in 2002. Onto Sal Estrada's Red Devil stuff. She was a 30 ft. spinner, stocked after 8 months of performance because the dam hawks were after her in the fall of 04 at the time. This yellow hen is a great performer.

To Skyline Lofts:

to take good photos, get yourself a 3 by 3 ft. box.Use kitchen counter material for the flooring (any color you prefer. As for the background paper (you can find this paper at "Micheal's Art and Craft's Store).

The camera I use is a "Cannon A530 14 pixel"

Go to home depot or any hardware store and get patio cloth covering so you can cover your self and front of box with bird inside box. (Dark Black) I advise you to take photos in a dark room (like a garage, shed etc.) Use a "clamp-on" 40 watt lamp on the right hand corner of the box you have your bird in. Make sure to take photos with NO flash.

*IT TOOK ME ALOT OF PRACTICE AND HELP. (FROM MY 16YR. OLD DAUGHTER (SHE KNOWS ALOT OF BAD ASS GRAPHICS!!) UNBELIVEABLE!!*

Well I have to go know guys. I gotta check on the pairs I mated (for 2008).
