Hi everyone I really enjoy your site and have had many hours of great information to read over the years. The pics are amazing.I learned alot

I have a question for everyone . In one of your past discussions there was a pic of penson palona and a guy in the middle with a big smile,a bunch of tropys on a table. Funny how the guy in the middle is the only one with the big grin ? thats because he won them. the gentlemen in the middle is BoB Brown.

I have a elderly freind of mine here in toronto who has the same picture. He imported his birds directly from bob brown in the late seventies. He tells me BoB Brown was one of the view who actually kept records and pedigrees where as pensom did not??

I have searched the entire internet and am unable to find out more informnation on bob brown as i also carry his line of birds. Why is that? lots on pensom not on brown

Please if anyone has information on bob brown line of birds can you please share information and any pics

Thanks Tony for the memebership

I dont think Plona, the polish fancier who lived in Conneticut ever met Bob Brown the englishman. Bob Brown never came to USA. Plona never went to England. Ralph Brown was a roller fancier who won a lot of shows. Maybe it was him? Bob brown had a mustach.

Maybe its not BoB Brown in that picture. You are right Bob Brown had a thin mustach. I am recalling another picture of him with trophys and he had a thin mustach.

Thanks for the clarification , iknow for sure the breeder was Bob Brown and not Ralph Brown unless his middle name was ralph.

Thanks for your response

Rick S. has a classic video out called 'Visit to England'. It is a old video but if I recall right, he had a in depth interview with Bob Brown. The video is being offered by Rick on the World Cup website / store.

Winners With Spinners has a lot of info from Bob Brown and other great roller men. It is also a cracking read. Well worth getting hold of.
