Kid,
Heres a couple of photos of when I was your age.
Thats my loft. Notice the trap door for my birds to enter.
I flew all my birds then, breeders, everything.
I sure wish I had the resources back then like you do now.

If I remember corectly, that black w/f cock bird I was letting go was banded PRC 1967. I do not remember the number. He sure could spin though.

Hey Ray,
When I was that age, my hair was long but not as long as yours. My grand mother always told me, you either cut that stuff off, or God is going to cut it for you. Did you know her? LOL KGB

Hey he looks like I did at that age. Most have lost there hair and wear hats to keep from burning. Nope not me. just got a lot shorter with age.

I was 16 years old in those photos. The two guys standing next to my loft is my older brother and my best friend. They all thought I was nuts for flying rollers...lol. Not much has changed...

You guys crack me up.......
Just to set the record straight.
Childhood can be ruff on a kid.
IM glad I survived it.
The birds where a great outlet for a kid that went through the things I did.
I did give my life to the Lord in 1984 and that probably saved my life.
He is faithful and I lean on him every day.
I am now the proud parent of two Children & 4 Grandchildren.
And, Just when you think your gonna get a break,
I now have full custody of 3 of my Grandchildren.
Its kind of crazy how life throws curve balls at you like that.
But GOD is good and well, what the helll.......I still love flying them birds and hope I can for many more years to come.

I think I have found my Twin.
Childhood can be very tough on kids,
But especially on the parents or Grandparents.
When I see my Mother these days I give her a BIG kiss
and tell her I’m sorry for all of the things I put
her through. She just smiles and says payback
is on it’s way with your kids:)))

AMEN RAY ,Taste and see that the LORD is Good. That is awasome to know Ray. You know he has saved my life a few times also and I'm glad, because i would know where I'd be.Thanks for the some what testimony and encouragement

I still see people looking at your young age once in a while... From my experience they can make real big eyes, they like to talk or yell to drivers that goes pass, and sometime they act like gorillas... pretty amazing how there young age looks hard and punk being but they are bless no matter what they are...

Some say it fell out from raising my Kids,
