Compare a fat kid to a healthy kid and see the difference yourself. A fat kid can't run, is out of breath very fast, sit around and lazy and munch all day long. Vary slow in schooling and not very active or good at doing chores around the house and won't cut the grass and swet too much. How is that for a short run down. Just think the fat kid is a fat pegion and you got your answers.

Can they run to the end zone like a receiver!! You can not have fat and muscle at the same time!! Maybe I am slow...but for your example raise Modenas.

O yeah they can. Have you seen when they pick up a fumble I've seen some of them run across the field for a touch down. If they can't they wont be able to make it into college.

Are you serious you cant have fat and muscle at the same time? Everyone has to have fat or else you'll die. Fat is fat even if its 1%

No kid..you can not have fat and muscle at the same time. What I mean is when you build your muscles, your fat tissue will burn and become muscle. Every living creature must have some fat in their body but the difference is how much of it. Compare a deer to a cow. What do you think!!

Anywaise is there any down side of over feeding besides performance and lazy. I know they will fly but not as long and performance wont be as good. Its kinda of common sense of those affect but i just want to know is there anything else.

Yes. They would want to breed too much. The cocks mind will be checking out the hens all the times and they end up fighting alot.

Hm... fighting alot and cocks checking out the hens doesn't really bother me and breeding alot is a good thing in my case because i just bought a few birds and want to get a family of my own. I dont compete just a backyard enjoyment. My loft is full of exotic colors and performance is a must too. I dont know if its the same with pigeon and chickens. In the winter i feed my chickens kinda fat so they'll stay healthy and don't get sick as much. Chickens doesn't have alot of feathers like pigeon to keep them warm.

Lets get back to the original post: the down side of overfeeding. To me the WORST downside of overfeeding is: In flight your birds are TOO STRONG on the wing. They fly like RACE birds. No time to ROLL. Their fly time is EXTREMELY LONG. When they do FINALLY land, they DON'T want to trap. And to me that like HAWK bait. OH, by the way I never saw an NFL player fly either....LOL
