Hi I live in SW Florida and would like to find out when is it to cold or to hot for breeding. The whether here has been 80% lately but it can go down to the 30%. Thanks for your info.

hay jesus i use to live live in sorthern ohio and i use to put my birds together the week of thanksgiving and its use to get really cold in southern ohio and the babies live back then ...............donny james

Hey Jesus, I like to keep my breeding loft at about 70 degrees in the winter. I have automated thermostats regulate the temps from a couple of heaters. A fan circulates the air to evenly distribute the warm air throughout the breeding loft.

I also have my lights on a timer and right now they are coming on at about 3:30 AM every morning. So breeders have about 14 hours of light to stimulate breeding.
