When you see a roller with bull eyes what color do you think it is?? Alot of guys dislike bull eye rollers but are fine with pearl eyes...But when you look at a bull eye roller in the sun light its pearl...
Is this a true statement...That a bull eye roller its actually pearl eyes.

You find bull eyes usually on boldys. Most pigeons with white heads have bull eyes. Sometime you find odd eyes in pigeons.

Wild eyes huh...Isn't that crack eyes??? I have a cock that has a pearl crack eye on one side and the other side is a bull eye...Here's how he looks like...I also do get birds with orange eye on one side and bull eye on the other side and ofcourse it's difinetly normal for a bird to get two different eye colors...It just means that the cock or the hen is carring two different eye color genes with them...Sometimes they could throw out youngs with both side oranges eyes and some youngs with both side bull eyes...Once in awhile you'll get orange and bull eye colors on some youngs...They all perform just the same as any other birds will perform...Never judge a birds by it's eye colors...Chai...
This is him with his crack eye

I get a lot of birds every year with seems to be bull eyes but with closer examination... you can actually see the color. I also get pitch black bull eyed birds, these are the norm. I don't know why but there seems to be different varying shades of bull eyes in my family. I like the ones with the brown eyes, makes for a unique look. Al tho eyes is meaningless if it isn't able to perform correctly. Of course we all know that the white on the heads has a lot to do with the pigments of the eyes. Thor

The first bird that Fire Baller 916 posted is a cracked eyed bird. The pupil bleeds into the irus therefore causing the cracked eye. This fault in the eye can correct itself in time or remain cracked forever. A bull eye can change to a clear eye too. Bill Roy has a white self cock that was born with bull eyes and with age the eyes changed to clear eyes. I bred the cock from a red grizzle cock and white ticked hen. Bill has bred the white cock to several hens with good results. Sonny Ray

The cracked eyed bird on one side has a bull eye on the other side therefore it is a odd-eyed roller. Lot of show birds are culled because of this fault. I bred lot of odd-eyed rollers this year because one or more of the parents had white on the head. The birds that are stocked will be mated back to self or barred birds with no white or very little white. Ray
