IN THE MONEY FLY YOU'LL HAVE THE OPTION OF FLYING BETWEEN APRIL AND SEPTEMBER DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF ENTRANTS.
THE CASH PRIZES WILL BE DETERMINED THE SAME WAY. ENTRY FEE WILL BE $50.00 1 KIT, 75.00 FOR 2 KITS.
STILL WORKING ON THE CLASSIC
NEED A LOFT SIGHT AND MGR(probably me to start) and a panel of judges(at least 3 total).
next yr i'm going to try and promote several FLIES for all fliers. kit and individual perfomance.

HDRC this is not a time for you to bicker it is a old fashion call out to see who is the best in the High Desert on a yearly basis thats all so keep it as that we have 4 clubs up here and you guys say you are the best we want to see you back your words thats all nothing else thanks for your imput next time be positive

Keith,
When will the cut off be for the registration on the Money fly? when will you be accepting the entry fee? Who will be the judge(s)? I'm sure this is going to be a tough fly as they're a lot of great breeders in these areas.

This is not the first time this area has had a money fly. It was just stopped for a year or so. It always goes over real well and there wasn't any problems in the past that I know of.It was actually very fun and all the guys look forward to it.The sportsmanship was always great even though there would be a little freindly trash talking.You can get some trash talk on flys even when there's no cash on the line. I remember one year the winner of a money fly took everyone on the fly to breakfast with the winnings. How is that for sportsmanship? It's a lot of work for the person in charge.I'm just glad to see it come back and glad we have guys like Keith in the sport that don't mind doing the work.

elopez, i wont make a cut of day until i have the first fly day. all monies have to be paid before the first person flies. once the first preson flies, no more entries after that. finding a judge is the hard part. i need a judge who is fair, knows good spin, who has the time, and that is not planning on participating.
i'm giving the option of flying between april 1st and september 1st 2008 (5 months).
most flyer know how to contact me, if not i'll put out flyers in february maybe sooner.
just trying to promote flying.

I don't think it should be that long of a time to fly unless there are a lot of kits. I think you should try to do it in the shortest time possible (a few weeks). This way you could have the option of having more than one money fly. Just my opinion, your the one that will have to do all the work, but I think it would be great.
Forgot to call you back yesterday, was xmas shopping with the wife. You know how much fun that is...

E, the reason for length of time is to give everyone the best possible time for them to fly. this is for 1 yrs bragging rights and most important ""cash"". what you did not notice is sept. 1st. nobody will want to fly in aug. because of the molt and most don't want to fly in july because of the the heat unless they can fly in the morning.

Why not get Paul Gomez to be the judge? He is a well respected guy who has been dealing with pigeons for at least 30 years. In addition, he knows spin. I would love to see him judge.

bigwill, you are right, paul does know spin, but with all do respect, is he experienced in judging kits?this is for the money. now when i do an individual fly, where as the best spinner is selected, he'll be perfect.
