Don't get me wrong I think it's a great idea. I'm willing to send my entries. There's just a Couple of things I have a question on.The 4th-20th guy going into a raffle? I think it should be spread a little more evenly, with some prize money maybe going to the top 10,20 or something. The way it is now the top three guys win. I mean 50 enteries at $150.00 is $7,500.00,plus there's the raffle of the top 20 birds in which half goes to the the club and half to the owner. I'm not crazy I know the birds have to be fed and taking care of and I know that the loft manager has to spend alot of time training and working with the birds. Feed cost and time is priceless.Again I'm not knocking the idea I'm just saying I think more will be willing to enter if the feel the have a chance a winning some type of prize money. Even if it's just there entry fee back. The other thing is what happens to the birds that don't make the top 20? I'm looking forward to it!

Do you get your birds back after the fly or are they auctioned? And who will manage the kit? Will they quarantine and treat the birds with antibiotics etc.? Cliff

Well guys it looks like I got 15 entries so far. If I dont get 50 entries this fly will be cancelled and all the deposits will be returned to the participants.
Any constructive criticism or feedback on why this fly will work or will not work is greatly appreciated .I was trying to put something together that would give someone a chance to win some cash and have a pigeon crowned a True U.S.A. Champion.
The rules and regulations will come out on the next issue of the N.B.R.C. bulletin.
Thanks George

Cliff the birds that finish 1st thru 20th place will be auctioned to the highest bidder with 50% going to the breeder and 50% to the L.V.R.C.
All birds remaining after that will be offered back to their breeders but they will have to pay for the shipping and box to return the birds to them .
Cliff if you have any ideas I'm all ears.
Thanks George

Efren if some one does a fly in California I will send a entry in a heart beat , thats the kinda guy I am a FLYER. ,althou I dont see how a kit would last a year flying in those kind of conditions (PREDATERS) . If a person can fly for 5 months out of the year Cali I would consider them LUCKY.
Here in Vegas I am still flying everyday (knock on wood ).
3757 my email address is g1ruiz@cox.net and my cell phone is 702-917-9821 .I dont know who you talked to at my house but they dont write my messages down becuase I get anywhere between 5 to 10 calls a day from friends who have birds.
The best way to contact me is my email but if someone needs to talk to me call me on my cell phone-702-917-9821.
Thanks George

Hello George,
You are very fortunate to have those conditions. Was trying to feed my #1 team today, a few got out so I decided to let them all up and 3 coopers stopped by then a falcon. lost 3 today. Maybe your right, LV would be a better place to fly them, it's rough out here.
Or maybe Rudy could fly them out in TX as he can fly all year long.
Little short on cash these days, still have to pay some fines but would definitely consider the next one. Keep us posted. ---------- Efren Lopez SGVS

A two bird entry is 150.00 dollers it can be from a single breeder a Club or two indivduals 1 bird each at 75.00 dollers .
If I get enough entries from the Los angeles area I will try to work with everyone and see if we can all get on the same page and I will make a run out to say Pomona to Spankys house ( so we can go have some Tacos at Omanas on Holt) and pick up the birds from thier breeders and that would save the shipping money and the box.
Lets say March 5 everyone can meet me in Pomona and I will pick up the birds.
also the day the prize money will be awarded there will be a lawn show and a raffle and food at my loft and the birds will be flown before thay are auctioned off. That should be April 15 2009 that will give everyone's birds a chance to come into a hard spin making it fair as we all know some birds start rolling at 3,4,5,6,7,8,9, Month's depending on the family of birds.
As the loft manager I will not be able to enter any birds .
I will have regular updates on my website informing everyone to any birds that get lost, injured, ETC.
The rules should be in the next Issue of the N.B.R.C. Bulletin.
All birds will be vaccinated for P.M.V. and wormed .
We are hoping that this will become a stepping stone to one day being able to host the N.B.R.C. Convention in Las Vegas.

Hello Gabe
If two or more birds look alike I will Mark them with tape on the tail or I can fly them in seperate groups ,theres a few ways to distinguish the birds .
I dont think that will be a problem . That was a good question Gabe ,I appreciate you taking the time to ask.

George,
Maybe you can give us some info on how the birds will be judged..over all best? Speed, style, freq., dept, kitting?
Also, will they be judged on the final fly or over all?
Just want to get a better idea on which bird might work best...

Birds will be judged by depth, quality, velocity, kitting, frequency,
