I fly Ruby Rollers and I fly Mort Emami birds. I started out with about 6 different strains back in the day and narrowed it down to the Ruby Rollers and Mort Emami birds.
I really like both strains. Yes I do compete and I have qualified for the finals For the fall fly, damn near did on World Cup flys (couple points off) and won the Sac area club fly's last year with them.
They are great birds that actually "like to roll". Right now I have been crossing them with my Mort birds with great success and I also keep some pure Ruby's and Pure Morts as my base..in case I take the wrong fork in the road and need to fall back on my base.
I highly recommend them...feel free to e-mail me or call me if you want to talk more...530-662-7550 530-867-2288 or paulfullerton@sbcglobal.net

I fly Ruby's, (almost feel like I'm at an A.A. meeting, ;-). I got off to a late start this last breeding season, therefore the young birds I flew were just coming into the roll when the B.O.P. got so bad I had no choice but, lock down. What I was able to see is an extremly tight kit, of the twenty young birds I flew I only had trouble with one and I think that was my fault. The birds that were starting to roll, were tight, fast, and quick to return to the kit. Depth, was 10 to 20'and I think in good form. They are very nice birds to watch in the air, pleasing to the eye. The offspring look like their parents, to the point that with some to tell father from son, I almost have to look at the band! What I'm trying to say is they throw as good or better then they are.
Yes, I'm happy with my Ruby's, and also dreaming of this years young bird crop.

Willy, Been flyin Ruby's for about 3 years.I ordered a 10 bird kit still have 5 originals.Ended up with one click pair out of the originals. I have the ruby's boxed up with my Rich Hayes pepperheads and black selfs, for comps this year.A very enjoyable kit to watch. All the birds in this kit do not sky out,and have excellent quality speed and frequency in the roll.A lot of individual rolling, but this kit is newly combined,so it will take some more flight time to get them more synchronized....Aloha,Todd
