Crow story: Today i walked out back to realse a kit around 3. p.m ...o.k am getting ready to release my kit , So i open the door and as soon as you know it a bop is chasing my birds ,The one bird being chase started doing everything it can to escape. Rooftop level. So the chase is on , my bird is doing angles and swifting fast to get away . right to left ...around roofs ...trees...before i know it i heard some Crows . The Crows became part of the chase and scared the bop away . My bird being chased got away and went back to the kit . . The kit had already flown higher and kitted up . They started lowering about almost ready to come in . After the Crow Chase the Bop landed on my niebors tree to wait for the kit to land. I was thinking man what a smart thing to do for dinner....LOL.... So one of the crows stayed behind . The CROW landed on a Tree Closer to my kit box which the bop was further from my kit box....lol. So then i notice my kit birds getting lower about ready to feed. I was thinking . I better get them in fast while the Crow is helping me out sitting on a tree closer to the landing area for my birds. So i rattled my can of feed and my birds came on the landing board rapidly and traped quickly ....LOL....Man they came in so fast the bop had no chance. SO i would say The Crow helped me out . . The kit is safe and everything worked out . And like Ice Cube says . Today was a Good Day ...LOL...siDloVe*

Like i posted before about CROWS they are your friends, put feed out for them every day, even if you have to put a dead rabbit in the yard, but you should cut it up with a axe. you will see that the Crows will work out your problem as for the BOPS. Crows come back every day for your feed. I know as i do this all the time. No Hawks here at my house. I can fly anyday i want { very true story]

Well skylineloft if you dont think it works for you OK but i cut up rabits and put them in my back yard by the loft.No one says a word about it here in Minnesota. Every one here shoots them as they eat up there gardens.I have not had a hawk here for a long time. You just dont want to try this, you think some one is going to say some thing,Who cares what the people say, i got the right to save my flyers. And darn it works for me,and my birds So LOL

IM not saying that it wont work. What IM saying is where I come from people still do not understand how there hamburger got the meat in-between the bun, so, what we have are people that will arrest you for cruelty to animals for trying something like that....... ---------- Ray

Golddigger. You ever use a crow caller? I have used a crow caller before...LOL..my niebors look at me wierd for making a distressed crow call with the whisle. But it brings all the crows over my house and secures the area for bop... hope this helps

Maybe this is our answer to save our rollers by insuring the reproduction of the crows to be in a greater numbers and push the POB out to the country side. The more crows the merrier.
Welcome, Joe Emberton.

Sid, try a pan of dog food placed in the same spot every day-that or some old bread. Do whatever you can to encourage the crows to hang around. Don't leave the food attractant setting out overnight-might attract rodents, coons, etc. Good luck! Geo.

I can't believe you guys there waste the rabbits on the crows, shoot me an email and I'll give you a receipe' for Rabbit Sauce Piquant' that will make your eyes water.
The crows will gang up on the BOP's for sure but be careful they are opportunity eaters they will kill baby chicks and eat em, I've had them snatch them right out of the pen when the Biddy Hen couldn't get all the biddys under her wings quick quick!
Black Imps of satan! those boogers bring a whole nother set of problems and the racket a bunch of them make, hope you ain't trying to take a nap!
