THE STRAWBERRY HEN IS A GREAT PRODUCER FOR ME...NEVER FLOWN BUT I DID SEE SISTERS AND BROTHERS ROLL LIKE CRAZY. SOLID 15-25 FEET YOUNGSTERS. MY JOHNNY SMITHS BIRDS ALL GO BACK TO THE NBRC-0016-95. AND I CROSSED EVERYONE OF THEM TO A BIRD FROM ABEL IBARRA... BOTH FAMILIES OF BIRDS ARE BASED OFF OF THE NORM REED STUFF BY WAY OF JERRY HIGGINS AND A FEW OTHER TOP BREEDERS... THEY ALL HAVE CROSSED SOMETHING DIFFERENT INTO THE BIRDS. THE JAMMED UP 0016 BLOOD HAS SHOWN A LOT IN MY BIRDS.I CAN KEEP THAT AS PURE AS I NEED IT..THEY HAVE WORKED BEST WITH A CROSS FOR ME...
CPRC-2398-05 BLACK GRIZZLE HEN.. THE MOTHER TO THE STRAWBERRY ABOVE. COCK TO THE BIRD IS CPRC-1911-05 BRED BY WORM (0016)
OUT OF CPRC-96-04 & CPRC-821-00 96 OUT OF NBRC-23-95 & CPRC-966 821 OUT OF CPRC-100-96 & CPRC-499-97 23-95 OUT OF 3259 & 4 966 OUT OF 11 & 1601 100 OUT OF 3259 & 4 499 OUT OF 100 & 949

Steve, How can someody choose... You're asking too much big guy. But I'll tale the challenge.. First I'd use Sal's dark check bronze cock on my resessive red..(cuz I KNOW what she did)... Next I'd grab ideaspin dark check hen and put her to his red cock... So ideaspin is the illusive Johnny Smith..?? I really like your birds, Johnny..!! I'd have to try Keiths red check, and that spangle that looks like it's rolling... and Glenns' dark check... If I could put my hands on them it would probably change things tho... Where's that pic bro..?... and what happened to the little almond out of 309?

She is a yb,good all around kitbird. One of those you don`t notice til you`re handling birds and you realize, 'Hey!This is THAT bird."
I like that red bar Paul. Nice tight bird. Do you recognize the eye on my dun? ---------- V99

Dunnie is 15-30,Medium frequency. H pattern. Shows the hole on a good day. Like I said good overall kitbird.Does it all right but she is just alright not outstanding. If I had a boxful of theses babies it would be a different story. The kit chemisty would be different and the frequency would most likely go up, fly pattern could change, hopefully for the better. She is still young and has a way to go so....

Hey fellas, These are my favorite birds. I started working on this family in late 2001/2002. They are bred from John Jones and Ernie Trujillio's best. The last 3 rollers are my superstars!

Steve this was a very nice post I think that a new guy can get a lot from it especially buy way uniformity. There just seem to be an order in place of the best birds in any top fancier loft.

Hey SKYLINE I had a pleasure of meeting you when you flew and qualified for the F/F this year. You put up an impressive kit even though the BOP's rained on the parade. I'll be looking foward to seeing your birds in "08". Keep em rolling.
