You locked the above post from redchecker, and I'm just curious as to why? I realize that you sell your Ruby Rollers through this site, but I don't see how a discussion of good strains of rollers to start with would necessarily hurt your business. Everyone knows that there are many families and strains of rollers out there, it's not some big secret. If you had let this post continue, many of the strains would have been named, but that doesn't mean guys would want to, or even be able to, buy rollers from those breeders. Who knows, many of the guys on here fly your Ruby Rollers, and may have named them as the strain to start with, which would have helped your business with free "word of mouth" advertising.
If you are going to have a vibrant roller forum, you guys have to loosen up on the editting and censorship a little. Just my opinion of course, but it's a big reason that many experienced roller flyers that used to contribute to the forum, do not anymore. You can do whatever you like, it's your site and business, but I've been biting my tongue for awhile now, and I just had to give you my 2 cents.

Thanks dave this is redcheck16 im new 2 the site an i read it daily just 2 learn new things. now i didnt mean 2 start any confusion just was courious 2 what people strains were out there around the world. So tony i apologize to you an others no harm intended. Ps. Tony i tried 2 contact you i left a message. Im a rookie 2 the site & hobby.

Hey Dave, thanks for your post. I wanted to talk with redcheck over the phone off the site, sometimes, these kind of posts seem to me to cause more confusion than they answer. I wanted to speak with him and give him one on one attention regarding his question.
I appreciate your concern and looking out for my benefit. You probably see that I leave up a WHOLE LOT about other families (pictures and whatnot), so it wasn't that at all.
Once I had a chance to speak with him, I was going to open the post back up, otherwise I would have just deleted it.
Thanks for asking about it. Keep the word of mouth coming! LOL I always appreciate it.
Redcheck, I was out Christmas shopping all day so I could not get to your phone call. I will call you tomorrow after church.
