I would like to know what you have accomplished in the hobby. club fly, wc, ff, cal. classic, and any other comp.
As for myself, being in the hobby for almost 1 year I placed in 4th in my club flys and flew in the ff with a whopping score of 16 (or around there). I will continue competing and will put in the work to get better and improve my stock to hopefully win a big comp.

Here is what i have accomplished so far in the hobby. All of these are first place trophies from kit competetion. These are all from my local club MTS( Maryland True Spinners). We only had enough people to fly in the Fall fly once. I took a second and my best friend Don Glenn won first for our region. My greatest accomplishment is having help several guys get some quality spinners. Steve

I'll start with 2005 because after geting birds from Steve Agent my birds start to show signs of life.I haven't done anything compared to some but as long as I improve each year I've accomplished something.

I have won a couple of fly and shows over the years, but I have to say that this is my favorite accomplishment in the roller hobby. THE UGLIEST ROLLER CONTEST. The San Diego Spinners put this in there line up in 1996 and I was the lucky winner that day. John Vandenbrock was the judge and we all had a good laugh over this one. I wish I had a photo of the bird. IM sure someone took a photo. Funny thing is, the birds was a good spinner. I put her in the auction and someone bought her. White grizzle hen. THAT WAS ONE UGLY BIRD...LMAO
PS. I wanted to enter the ugliest cock contest but my wife would not allow it....lol I think I could have won...lol

I started in rollers in 1999 and came in 4th in the finals for the fall fly in 2000 in the 11 bird, since then I have made the top ten in the fall fly finals ten times between the 11 and 20 bird divisions. I had my best year in 2004 I was first in the 20 and third in the 11 bird fall fly finals. In 2007 I was tenth in the 20 and seventh in the 11 bird finals. I have won many shows but really only care about the flying. I have judged five shows and really enjoy the jetting together with other flyers.

Placing in the top 5 and top 10 in the California Classic several times with both of my birds was a great accomplishment to me.Especially having Monty Niebel coming over to see my kit fly and having his compliments and input on my accompliments was spectacular. R-LUNA

Won some club flys. Finished 2nd or 3rd a bunch of times. Was end of the year champion in one of the clubs a few years ago. Have qualified for the National Fall Fly Finals six years in a row. Qualified for the WC Finals twice I think. Won the CA. State Championship in 2005 and still have the trophy :) There are probably a few other things but that is all I can think of at the moment without pulling down the boxes and digging for plaques to read.
Some of it pales in comparison to my show exhibition accomplishments where I've won numerous breeder of the year awards, won the national twice, pageant champion over 500 and 600 birds and earned my master breeder designation.

I hesitate to write this, but here she goes. I really appreciate the long extended effort and dedication to the winning of competition and shows. I have a military uniform that sports a whole bunch of medals, some I wanted and some I did not want (ie Purple Heart). But when the dust all settles..my accomplishments are based on my goals..and I think it starts out with my going out in a half an hour on this Saturday morning, turning loose a kit of birds and seeing them perform..simply that..perform..some short, some longggggggg..some even tumble upon occasions..then all come down and look me in the eye and say.."There you go Boss, how was that for performance on this Saturday morning???..now, lets go eat!" and I give them a bit more than necessary because they are My Rollers.
