Flyers, when is the best time to fly for top performance? time of; a)year b)day c)weather conditions (if there were no bop) the best time to fly for is the spring or fall. you get cooler days with some over cast, the air seem to be crisp and clear, and the birds seem to love it.(they burn up the sky)

Summer over cast mornings, the birds seem to turn it on, even when a light drizzle or sprinkle is coming down, they get excited for some reason. ---------- Dale SGVS

I don't know about now, but when we could freely fly year-round, the best time to fly was right around Christmas and New Years.. The birds had gotten through the molt, the weather is cool, the birds were really feeling good. I always liked to fly in the early afternoon, since that is when the breeze would pick up a little.. It would help kick the birds over as they banked around into it. My experience is that they roll better when it is a little cool... Gomez

I used to like flying in winter the best. Light to medium breeze with misting rain. The birds would just dump.
Nowdays I would pick April as the best overall month up here in Sacto due to predators.
