This is Bobby Ruiz, good friend of mine and well known roller fancier for many years, many excellent birds have come through his loft, had a hot 1030 family some of the deepest and fastest muffs I have ever seen roll. also 1315 (Smith)was the final resting place at Bobby's loft.

HEY DALE,
I have this old picture from a CRS show we had over at Bobby Riuz' house back in the day.. Bobby is standing in back of me..the third from the right..Wearing the hat. That's me with the Afro and the open shirt.. Also there is Frank Lavin, Reggie Stewart, JoJo, Arnold Jackson, Mike and Pete Muraviov (the Russians--look like ZZ Topp), Charles Robinson,and I think Ricky McZeal..and others...

Keith, Yeah, I that is Ricky McZeal with his hand on the
trophy..with the gray sweater in front of Frank. Arnolds'
face is partially blocked by Mike (with the beard)..he's
in the middle back..oh and that's John Isabell next to him..

Dale, If you talk to Sam tell him he lived on Missouri Ave in South Gate, he got out of birds in the early 90's. I remember I used to ride my bike to his house back then!!LOL...Thanks Dale

GREAT OLD PHOTOS BACK IN THE DAY.
I sure wish I would have known everyone back then. I was just a kid flying out of my backyard. I had no idea that people got together like that back then. I never herd of a kit box Intel 1993. Amazing, I feel like I missed out....

Rudy, Mike the Russian lives in Avocado Heights and has all kinds of various birds, its always a treat paying Mike a visit. and yes a cold Bud is always there.
Ray, I was fortunate to meet all those old timers as a teenager in the early eighties through my good friend Bill Torres, alot of those guys are all like my second dad, World Class gentlemen and awesome mentors for the hobby, I could post a 1000 more pictures but i am sure Tony would get upset. LOL>>>>>>>>>>

Awesome pictures guys. That's one of the things I love about this sport. It brings together guys of all nationalities, races, and socio economic classes like few other hobbies I can think of.
