The Following two photos is of the winning bird owned by Charlie Nutt of Vandalia, MO
The judge for the flying Rollers was one of my closes friends Bob Hord.
Eldon Cheney who is going to be this year's WC Finals Judge replacing Dave Moseley due to his illness.
Sammy White, a long time friend from my hometown of Decatur, IL
Mike DeChaney who grew up with me in Decatur area. Super good guy.
This was a good show; well organized and fun. There were roller guys from many different states represented. I was able to handle a lot of birds with promise and with some I would even pay money for(LOL).

Hi Nick,
are you sure eldon Cheney is the finals jusge for the WC this year? That's going to be very controversial.

That is what I am hearing. I know the WC has been looking sense Dave Moseley had to withdraw. They have not been able to get anyone to step forward.
Why would there be any controversy if he is asked?

The controversy will be around the fact that he is so familiar with many of the flyers, has good friends in many regions, and has not actually placed highly in the WC competition.
Many of the guys up here feel that it is better to have a judge that has more of an arms length relationship with the competitors and has placed highly in previous years flies.
Of course, I understand that most guys can't take the time off to do it and perhaps Eldon was the only one that could make the time.
I have the utmost confidence in Eldon's judging ability and have in fact spent some time with him in the past hosting him at my house.
