This is going to sound really stupid, but what exactly is a black mottle? Anybody have any pictures that you could post!

Thanks!

Hi
Go back a few pages and there was a dynamite looking black mottle that some one on the list posted. Beautiful bird! I do not remember who posted the pic though.

Val to the rescue! Your becoming a very amazing roller man indeed. I love it more than ever,Val. Remember those booted rollers can someday become a great family of rollers. Just picture them tearing up the sky with 30 foot high velosity spins. El Meastro & Mastor.

hey! kopetsa
some friends and i have dicussed this subject before on what is a motttle and what is a spangle. this is what i've
come up with. looking at the picture of pensoms crystal palace spangle the opposite to this is a red mottle. that means that a spangle has white wings(primaries)and a mottle
would have red wings (primaries).the same would be ture with a black and white spangle and a black and white mottle.the tricky part is a black mottle with white wings.
if we stay with the principal of white wing and red wing, then we would have to sat that the latter is a black and white spangle.

coyotee, i was thinking the same thing but we never say blk spangle. it seems as though all blk birds are called mottles or grizzle and red birds get grizzle, spangle, mottle, and splash.

YOUR RIGHT KEITH WE NEVER SAY BLK SPANGLE BUT IF WE THINK THE OPPOSITE OF RED SPANGLE THEN THERE SHOULD BE ONE.
I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE, IF I GET A CHANCE I'LL POST IT.

the bird MSG POSTED, I WOULD CALL A GRIZZLE. THE FEATHERS ARE NOT BLK OR WHT BUT BLK AND WHT WITH SHADES OF GRAY MIXED IN.

Hi
You can post a picture through www.photobucket.com (easiest site I think) and after you upload your image copy the hotmail code and past it into a message on this site.

Thor, no, I wished! LOL

Those are my sons wrestling plaques, trophies, and medals! He will be 13 next month and this is his 9th year wrestling! He just won the United States Jr. Open Championships this last weekend! Beat a kid from SF Cal. in the finals!

His gold medal, ring and shirt as champion!

My daughter has had just as much success in FFA! We live to compete! Someday, I hope to focus this hard on my rollers, but right now the kids have most of my attention!

Madroller,

To post pics, download them into photobucket, (photobucket.com), once you get that, you should have 4 images under the pictures. Go to the 3rd one down, (HTML tag)click on it, click edit, click copy, go to your posting spot on the forum, click where you want your picture to be,click edit, click paste! scroll down a couple of lines, write a message about the pic and click post message and BAM, you should have a picture!

Val,

Thanks for clearing that up. Nice. I have a friend here who has the same setup with his show cages. All tho every trophy in the back ground is from his various Roller winnings - show and flying.

Thor
