Electric man

Nice bird what family is it from? Always have been partial to the boots and muffed birds as the JL Smith birds came out!

Don't know, they are from my first original family! Got them from a chicken farmer and he got them at a swap shop! They are fast and frequent but only about 5 to 10' at best! I only have a few left! I like looking at them too, they make very good fosters also, so I keep them around!

Here is her uncle!

And her mother!

I'm playing around inbreeding a couple of rounds and seeing if anything improves on their depth!

Flew these two nestmates for 2 yrs! Open loft system with full tray of feed in front of them all the time! No matter when I kicked them out, they put on a show! Just not much depth! I think that I will breed these three back and forth for a while and see what happens! They can always go back to fostering!

Val you have some nice looking feathered footed rollers. Id keep them and mate them to another good family of booted rollers. Good luck with your birds. F.R.S. Jerry has lot of experience and likes them too.

I saw your last post Val about making the booted birds foster parents. Wake up my friend its two thousand and eight. Stock them before you loose them. F.R.S.

I haven't flown them in over a year! Bred the R&W hen to a Dan Galarza cock for two rounds and the black cock to the B&W mottle (uncle to niece) for two rounds also! The youngsters are in the training kit now! Now, I will breed the brother and sister to gether for a couple of rounds! If I get any youngsters that are an improvement, I will cross them back to the parents!

These are my plans right now anyways! Suggestions are welcome!
