Likes: Kit really good. Come back from lockdown quickly.
Dislikes: Quality of roll. I never had one that balls up. Best I get is high X. High flying. These birds are a management challenge.
I have recently switched to some Ivan Hanchett birds. Last year was the first year with them. They do not start kitting as fast as my old family, and I have heard that they may have some issues after lockdown. I have seen the quality with Ivan's birds, and I am looking forward to what they will do as yearlings.

Billings family Likes: good velocity, and break well together Dislikes: reguire patients, up to 8 months to really start rolling
Starley Family. I include in this some bird I got from a club member who also got birds staight from John Destouet. Simaler to the Billings line, god speed and style but take a while to really start rolling.
Hoyle line: Likes they come in sooner, good depth a velocity, are easier to feed. Dislikes, Less control

I like that i have a good idea what im going to get out of them when i put them together,, Dislikes,,, dont have any,if i did i whould have a diferent family,. Hector Coya-SGVS

I like the quality they're capable of. I like the depth and work rate. They tend to want to work together, big breaks and the team often comes around and 'picks up' those that rolled from team. They're easy to manage.
They take longer than I want to get int the air and kitting as youngsters. I want more with H-style wing position. I get too many that have early development issues like kitting and control when young. Once they mature they are solid and reliable. Breeding results are unpredictable, I want more consistency. ---------- Jon
