Hi Ken

Do you have a brother name Bill or William? That lived in Los Angeles County at one time? Thanks

Hi Jerry,

that is an interesting question. My last name, Firl, is very uncommon. I have never met a person with that last name that was not a relative although there are a few scattered around the US.

None of my family with the last name of firl has ever lived in LA that I'm aware of. Certainbly not any of my siblings.

I do have family in the San Diego area. Mom and Dad in Montana and the rest of us here in the Bay area.

Ken

Hi Doua,

we discussed whether to include Parlors in the deal, and maybe even have a parlor comp but decided against it. You can still bring a Parlor or 2 if you'd like to put them in the auction, but we really want to keep the focus on the Birmingham roller.

If, at some point in the future, the PArlor roller guys want to get together and do some more parlor stuff with this show, it could happen, but we would need those guiys to step up and organize it.

I don't know I'm not a feather merchant and I'm more focused on what I'm breeding than what another person is breeding, so far I only know a few maybe about 10 hmong guys but there could be more, I do not know man.

Jerry It takes me 8 hours to drive to LA from Here. 495miles from Sacto airport. You would have to get up at 2 am or fly down. Or take a train ride and sleep all the way here. that will work!!!!

For the guy who asked about the HFRF club guys
There will be some HFRF guys there. ME for one, Joe Urban, Don Siggins and a few others.

Scott,

I've never met Norm but have spoken with him on the phone. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and that he has more class than to sell his own birds at a show put on for a club's benefit.

Of course, I also have no problem asking anyone that would undercut the very purpose of having the show to leave. Of course I would do it as tactfully as possible.

Ken

Half of all the money the auction birds brings in will be given to the guys who donated them. If your bird sells for $60.00 you will get $30.00

I also stand corrected on the LA drive. It is about 334 miles from LA. I said it was about 495 mi from the Sac air port but I saw the sign Sadurday and it said 385 from Sact air port. But it is still an 8 hour drive. One way. But to Lodi it would be only 331 miles. ONLY LOL

Hope you all can make it within a few hundred miles anyway. Bill C

I checked from downtown LA to the show and Yahoo maps had it at less than 4 hours.

It all depends on how much time you spend stuck oin LA traffic! LOL

Well of anyone comes up from LA the first guy to show me his drivers license I will buy him $10 worth of raffle tickets. But you have to make it for the raffle so get up early and come on up or is it down. It all has to do with the equater and I forgot? I will guess and say north is up. BIll C

Guys,

the show is happening rain or shine! We have a 290 person COMPLETELY COVERED picnic area. My wife just called and the Joe Houghton pair just arrived.

For those with kids, the park has a zoo and an amusement park. there is a bathroom and playground right next to the picnic area so it is great for the family.

My wife and kids are coming down to enjoy the friends, the food, and then go spend some time at the Zoo.

See you there!

Ken

PS. If you need details - click on the NCRC show header and the PDF will POP up.

Thanks Tony!
