What makes those two your foundation cock birds? I recall you stating you don't fly, if so I'm confused. Do they breed Show Champions for you?

Just curious,
Thor

P.S. My foundation passed away in 2006 at 10 years old due to breeder error.

Just kidding washington...........

Foundation birds are the pigeons or pigeon a family of birds are bred from,or in other words the family was bred ONLY from these original birds.

kotepa,

Do you win a lot of Shows with those youngsters bred from the above? I have a friend here who likes both - breeding for the show cage and breeding for the air. He cleans houses on most of the State Flying Roller Shows and kick butts in the local, National and World fly. What shows do they have up there? I'm not a show nut so I don't know much about the showing of Rollers. Last I heard, the Show Roller was trying to establish it as a Breed of it's own. In my state, the Roller Shows usually have two categories - The Flying and The Show breed. When entering, you have to check one or the other. Man, those trophies you get from winning a Show are very impressive compared to the Competition ones.

My goal is to be able to answer that question by the 2010 breeding season.
