Anyone know of any information about a band, or know someone that I could get ahold of that would know about the NPA bands?..I have a pigeon in my possession that is banded NPA 07..It has the initials HS on it, as well as the number 51 on 1 side, and the number 10 on the other.. Anyone?..Thanks..This bird was found in my area, and brought to me..I would like to find its owner if possible.

I think 10 is the size. It is larger than the typical roller band. I think the roller bands are like a 7 or 8. But I might be all wrong....LOL

Hi Jerry,

I'll find out from the NPA Band Secretary and let you know. The 10 is the size, and that is for a larger pigeon. NPA size 8 is for racing pigeons and size 7 is for roller pigeons.

Thank you, Dexter!

Now .. let's PLEASE have at least a couple of you Roller folks come on board with 911 Pigeon Alert to help us with Rollers .. I don't care if you don't want to do the racers or fancies .. but we really, really, really could use a roller fancier or two. And .. GOSH .. you, too, could come to know all the freakin' NPA band sizes by heart!

Seriously .. WE NEED HELP ON 911 PIGEON ALERT .. if you are willing to help, please let me know.

Yes, I am a "girl" .. a soon to be 60 year old one who has been doing pigeon, dove, duck, and goose rescue for the past 12 years or so and dog and cat rescue before that.

I'm going to post a new thread with how to assist on 911 Pigeon Alert if any of you would care to.

I keep yammering about needing Roller savvy folks to help because we have a great deal of difficulty in locating clubs and contacts for anything other than NBRC .. I KNOW that you guys know how to reach many of these clubs ..

Hector ..

Just checked to see if we've ever had a bird from your club, and we have not. That's good news for your guys and your birds! I've also entered your club/your info .. it is completely private to 911 Pigeon Alert so there are no worries there about anybody getting the info. If we ever get one of your club's birds, then we'll know where to go.

Thank you!
