Just wanted to put it out there offically, The Kern County Roller club will be in full effect in the "08" season. the majority of the flyers are located in the Bakersfield area. however we have members as far south as Gorman, Taft and me the lone ranger 45min east of Bakersfield, in Lake Isabella. We started the club roughly mid 07, basically talk and a fun fly or so. However this year we are all primed to rolling some birds. Our president "Travis" has a couple of kit's he has been workin with this year. we are planning on having some lawn shows, bbq's , participate in any fly's and just all around have a good time if you live in bakersfield feel free to contact one of us "all will be welcome". for the first time in my roller cerrer i have competed, and am lookin foward to doing some more, it just feels really good that I wont be the only one flying comp in bakerfield this year. Hey Square, thanks for the announcement! Good Luck with your club!
As for that jumbo picture, can you resize it to a 3" by 5" size? The picture is waaay too big. I am starting to go through the threads and do some housecleaning. I appreciate it! :-)

Hey Square who is that cool cat or man in that picture? Is that my main man Travis in Bakersfield? What is Paul Gamino up to now days. Is he still rolling those parlor rollers? Do you see my blue and black checks tearing up the sky in Bakersfield? I was living in Ceres, California when they purchased them around twenty years ago. Never been up that way to see birds fly but I hear that you guys have good birds there in central Cal!!!!!!!
